The word “millennial” has been so stereotyped in the media most of us cringe at the label. But here, we believe it should be worn with pride. After all, millennials are doing amazing things. We’re changing the way people work, the way people live; we’re changing the way people look at the world.
That’s why we launched The Reply.
We want to change the way the world sees millennials and the way we look inward at ourselves.
There was a time when the thought of running a magazine seemed an inconceivable feat. But today, things are different. The tools are at our fingertips. We can literally publish stories with the click of a button, and display them for anyone to read and share. When dreams are this accessible, you have to reach out and grab them. If you don’t, you’ll never know what managed to slip away.
We’ve laboured over this project for many months now, and are incredibly humbled by the support we’ve already received (thank you to all the early Facebook and Twitter followers!). We know there are a million other magazines, blogs and sites out there screaming for your attention. The fact you are here, reading the words we have written for you, means the world to us – and it’s something we won’t take for granted.
In return, we want to give you something that keeps you coming back for more. So please reach out and let us know what you’d like to see. Working together we’re confident this is the beginning of something wonderful – and we can’t wait to take you along for the ride.
Welcome aboard,
Carly Ottaway and Chris Rogers, Co-Founders, The Reply
